I've been here all along, just not writing in this lovely blog. So to get you up to speed, it's been a busy time. Since my last show I've been in four shows, auditioning, creative developing, and attempting to retain a life outside of this. Ha.
Here is a quick photo recap of shows:
Maple and Vine by Bottled Snail Productions on the Lawler Theatre from 2-5 Dec 2015. Set in the present, but within a community that exists as if it's 1950. A great play, I do recommend a read. And I LOVED the wardrobe. LOVE LOVE LOVE
Soul of a Whore by Baker's Dozen Theatre Company at Mechanics Institute from Feb 24 - March 6 2016. No production shots of this one, and I appear naked in this cast shot. I did play a stripper so probably appropriate. This was a mammoth show. Loved doing an Auslan interpreted performance of this. Southern american accent now under my belt :-)
Coriolanus by Heartstring at Mechanics Institute (fast becoming second home) from 27 April - 8 May 2016. All female adaptation of the Shakespeare play. An epic show with EPIC COSTUMES. I'm noticing a theme here....
Macbeth by wit inc at Bluestone Church Arts Space from 11 August to 27th 2016. This was a gender reversed version of Macbeth (so Macbeth was a woman). Created an entirely different dynamic which was awesome to explore.
