Work History
Queensland Symphony Orchestra
Tammy was first introduced to QSO as a casual Operations Assistant in 2021. In 2023 Tammy then acted as the Performance Services Coordinator, first learning the role and then handed it over to a permanent employee. A few months later, Tammy repeater this pattern; she became the Acting Orchestra Manager for 7 months before passing it over to a permanent team member. Currently, Tammy is in the part-time as QSO Connect Coordinator until a permanent employee is appointed.
QPAC
For Spirit of Christmas 2025, Tammy was Score Reader for the Broadcast team.
Camerata
For 18 months Tammy was at Camerata - Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra on a Maternity Cover Contract. For the majority of her time she was Producer, assisting the Artistic Director in creating Camerata’s mainstage, commercial hires, and regional tours. For 6 months she stepped into the role of Managing Producer taking a more hands-on role in job quotations and assisting the executive team.
Opera Queensland
Tammy works casually at Opera Queensland as a Stage Manager, facilitating auditions, rehearsals, and performances, on and off-site. She also is a Surtitle Technician, assisting in the creation, implementation, and presentation.
Wynnum Fringe
Tammy was Associate Festival Producer of Wynnum Fringe in 2021. With a core team of three for the festival this role was expansive. Tammy supported the Director in festival delivery, including day-to-day carriage of contracts, schedules, budgets and operational matters, including arrangements with artists, venues, temporary staff, food vendors and contractors. She also assisted in assisting in social media, ticketing website management, and constructing and managing online store.
The 2021 festival doubled in attendance from 2020 and employed over 200 artists and arts workers.
BUCK Outdoor
Tammy’s work with BUCK Outdoor has been extensive and varied. It ranges from seamstress for events for Stan and Paramount+ to assistant site manager for Disney+ Drive-In.
